i cant seem to identify this piece. it seems of small calibre judging by the barrel and the size of the round. is it a 3.7 pak with a different under carriage? or is it an mountain artillery piece?

thanks

Just a guess, early Soviet 45mm ?

Edit:

It is hard to tell if it is a Soviet 45mm M/32,
I have not found any photo of the wooden wheeled
http://www.thetankmaster.com/ENGLISH/AFV/45mm1937.asp

OTOH
- There where German 37mm produced with wooden wheels, some initially produced for Turkey ended up in Sweden during the war.

Cheers

Hi Polynike

The barrel and the shieldform and the box above the barrel
are indicating that it is a 3,7 cm Pak 35/36, but I have never
seen a German 3,7 with wooden wheels.
The only thing that I can think about is that it is a 3,7 cm pak
153(n) , 158(r) or 162(i) these are exported and licencebuilt
3,7 Pak 35/36 ????

Regards Jos

Day All
My 2 cents worth. It is I think one of the German built Paks as the breech is of the horizontal type whereas I think from pictures I have seen the Russian built ones are vertical.
