Examining what little I can dig up it looks like ~5000 guns were employed in about 1150 coastal batteries mostly along the socalled "Atlantic Wall". There are scant references to some new german guns installed [usually ex naval guns], but the vast majority look like older WW-I guns or captured enemy guns installed.
Did the germans build new 150-240mm 'naval/coastal' guns and install them in concrete bunkers/emplacements? Or was that reserved for only the larger guns [280mm or larger]? Any one got any figures on how many such new guns where constructed for this purpose?
Has there ever been an inventory of Germancoastal batteries

A review of Army super heavy artillery plus guns built for the Coastal & Railway gun show a large investment in such guns. It looks like the cost of such large guns should be in the same region of the same class guns mounted on warships. Here is a short list of the guns built…[Based on Hogg information].
2 x 800mm Dora guns
10 x 406mm [3 x Railway guns & 7 Coastal guns]
