Hello all!

Here is an HES 2,4 at Lista, Norway.
It is mounted in a R608 that we are restoring.

We have even tested it with the motor. It is running very nice.

Thanks for sharing this picture! If you have more of your 608 please share..
It looks very rear, the umgehungsleitung in combination with this type of dustfilter!

Is it original ww2, or post war modification?

Gr, Tim

This is one of the two original HES 2,4. What is the "umgehungsleitung"? The one that goes in between the HES and the filters?
Going out to the bunker in a few minutes, and will try to take some more photoes and post later.

Leif-Tore

PS Jos: Just visited Middelburg and Vlissingen a few weeks ago, and looked at the bunkers in Parc Toorenvliedt, and in Vlissingen. Very Nice!

Yes that is the one.
Whith filters in place you can use this tube (on the picture with heater/filter ?) without using the filters.
You need a fast closing valve in case of a gas attack.

So you don't need to remove the tube and place the filters since they are already in situ.

Hello again!

Today we did some cleaning and tidying in the 608. Took some more pictures too.
Starting to look good, I think.

All the ventilation-stuff was dismounted when the Norwegian Army stopped using the bunker in 1996.
It has been stored at the local museum until recently.

Leif-Tore

Jos: I don't think we saw all your bunkers, but Peter gave us a special tour late one evening.

Do you have any photos of the heating system, boiler and such?

The boiler is missing, but we have one that comes from a "shower-bunker" in the area.
We plan to install this one instead, unless we suddenly get an original boiler.
I haven't got any pictures right now, but can take some in a few days.
All the radiators are in place, though. And most of them can still be adjusted!

Hi Arthur,

Possibly, yes, but the RAL of the painting seems to be exacty the same one of the support. That makes me a big doubt.

It seems to me a good option, mabye to sustain the ventilation if the civil electric is damaged, the time to start the bunker generator up.
