A couple of pics From Portlet battery Jersey channel islands

This set of bunkers is located to the left of Noirmount point or more comenly know as Batterie Lothringenm, this unlike the Batterie Lothringen has not had any restoation work done on it, i am sorry for the quality of the pics they where quite hard to get close up pics as in some places it was very over grown.

There where two of these holes in each side of the bunker above, not to sure what they where use for, mg positions?

View from in side of the holes you can see a small square cut out in the sort of top right, just wonder but what would ahve been there there is the remains of some wire there.

This is the cut out i was thinking mabe a phone or a light or some thing?

This bunker used to quite a nice structured bunker inside but as you can see from the first pic it has been bricked but like a lot of the bunker around jersey , this is an escape route

Moving on this looks to eather be soem sort of storage room a garage there are remins of a some sort of ww2 car there engine is still ther and wheels and stuff are in there but sort spanner decided it would be a good idea to put loads of bracken in there and you fly tip in it so can realy get a good pic of it

here is the engine of the car i was on about, about 8 years ago this place as not so over grown and you could get around a lot mroe easly.

these wheels are also in that graage thing but i dont think they are part of that car

This is a bunker that i would very much like to get inside and have look around in but like the others it has been bricked up all though there is a masive round shoot in the side of the bunker that i ahve know idea what it is for, but it is big enough for me to get in but i dont know if i would be able tog et out again i wouldnt want to get stuck in there so im gona go back with a mate and get pics from inside this one.

This is that huge man size shoot i was on about it would be nice to know what this is if any has any ideas to what it is plz fire away on all cylinders lol.

This bunker also has one of those holes identical to the bunker in the first post witch i though was possibly a mg position?

This is the escape hatch from the bunker, pritty much the saem as the first one, its even over grown lol.

this would be the main entrance it also has some tracks leading into the bunker, im not to sure what they woudl be form but my guess is that a gun would have been mounted on them and they would just role it in and out the bunker when needed.
