WW2 water storage in jersey channel islands

I found this lying about 300 yards from the enplacments at portelet common it is 2 masive water tanks and a boar hole to the back of it can any one give me any infomation on this is it from the war or possibly installed after.

This is the boar hole loacated at the back of the water tanks
