I found these three nice images on Ebay. One of them was posted by Jopaerya on 18 July 2005 in this thread

i am currious as to how such multi-gun configurations were triggered, i see that some of them still have there orrgional triggers in place but in there configs they would be useless, and the aircraft guns are different again, can anyone shed some light on this for me thanks.

Hello Emmanuel

Do you think they are "7.5 mm Mle 1931" or 7.5 mm K.M.G. 311 (f) ??

Based on an examination of the rear of the breechs of the guns I would guess that these are the fortress models of the weapon M1931F. The Vehicle model M1931C has a large square attachment for mounting a shoulder rest while the fortress model has a smaller circular pipe extension in the same location. The guns in the quad mounting appear to have the same small circular extension.

Thanks Roland1369

For your logical explanation and picture's , AFAIK it's also the only M.G. with the drum on the side ??

No, the vehicle mounted guns also used a drum feed.

By the way - what are these twin MGs presented on the 1st page of this topic:

http://forum.axishistory.com/download/file.php?id=83421

They are obviously not the MG 131, MG 17 is not the perfect match too, I think.

Hi all,

I found this image on Ebay. I think 2cm Oerlikon gun on a pedestal mount.
Is this a standard AA mount or a improvisation ??

I think bulgarian crew, probably

Hello Sturm78

The pedestal mount is frequently used see page 3 , 4 and other picture's in this Topic
the gun looks to me a FFM or FM Oerlikon with a extra sight .

Regards Jos
