Found a Ebay PK picture with captured machine guns form Allied bombers that were reused
as twin M.G. , could be one of the guns that were used on post 12 on one of this Topic .

Could be airfield-please see the lift for bombs in the background.
I think those guns were used for airfield AA defence.

That designation might indicate that this type of pedestal was originally designed for the MG 17 Vierling. But obviously used for several other gun types as well.
