Found a Ebay PK picture with captured machine guns form Allied bombers that were reused
as twin M.G. , could be one of the guns that were used on post 12 on one of this Topic .

could be one of te airfields?

Could be airfield-please see the lift for bombs in the background.
I think those guns were used for airfield AA defence.

The MGs look like .303 Browning (without flame guard) recovered from shot down British planes. Here for comparison:

That designation might indicate that this type of pedestal was originally designed for the MG 17 Vierling. But obviously used for several other gun types as well.
