Hello Jos,

as it is metioned in the text for one of the pictures, the gun was photographed around Lörrach. This is indeed within the southern part of the WW.

Fur sure interesting pictures.............

Daniel

This looks likes a kind of W.n. or Stp. with 8.8 cm PaK 43/3 and a 2 cm Flak 30 in the Westwall 1944/45 .

Hello All,

Thanks Jos for a nice photo :).
I can remind this one in a book written by Neil Short and somewhere elso too.
Origin it comes form NARA.
I wished to have it as original scan...

According to Sockelllafetten-I haven't found any from eastern front!

A post from @ndrew on modelling aspects of this subject now has a thread of its own in the Modelling & Military Art section, at http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 8&t=165100 - DT.

Hello

Looks that the 15.5 cm K.418 (f) in Kriegsmarine service ( M.K.B. Socoa-West and Cap de la Heve )
used a M.P.L. = Marine Pivot Lafette , still the question what type of M.P.L. this was ??

Hello

The Sockellaffette as we have seen in this Topic are mostly Roman numbered , but this early type
what was only used in the Channel Island for the 10.5 cm K.331(f) in a few in open positions but
most in socalled Jägerstande a few more picture's on page 1 and 2 on this thread .

Photo = A. Ditrich :wink:
