Stril

I have no idea what type of gun it is............but judging by the size of the breach, i'm sure it could fire bottles of beer all the way to Australia, i'll let you know when a shell lobs on my front paddock......ha ha ha

Kindest regards

Hi Stril

My 2 cents is the 24 cm Haubits St. Chamond L/13 or L/16 ,
as you know it is a Marine Artillerie and the gun has a gunhouse.
Its my best guess , maybe M.K.B. Kvarven III or Sandviken

Hello Jos
It was too easy for you..
You are right, it is a 24 cm Haubitz, St. Chamond L/13(german list it as L 12,7) from MKB 504/2, Kvarven III.
Your turn to come up with something.
To e.polis
The beers has left the barrel, and is soon to hit the ground at your place, be careful, the "fizz" is dangerous.. :D

If I look in Rudi Rolf, it isnt there....
If I look in Yannik Delefosse, its tere as a H650, and RR`s in marked "Variante"
So.... Which source to believe??

Hi Kurt

You are right it is a early drawing of the Regelbau 649 , Scharten
of 90 degree's and the 650 has a Scharten of 120 degree's .

Hello Erik and others,

Camouflaged as a house, yes... its buildt to look like a small industrial building or warehouse, it even has a ramp infront.

But no.... it is not a R 622 - but close enough !!

And BTW - its not in France either, sorry !!

Hint: The modern building in the back, is a fairly known tourist attraction of this little town !!
