ehhm, I think it is a uwako fest on Alderney WN Hafen-Süd.
Had a peak on a a very interesting site and came across a picture of the same bunker.
Maybe you know the site, it is the bunkersite.com..........
You really have to go and see this site, it is pretty good.

Well Arthur, outside the channel islands i have never seen one, on the channel islands either-> because i have never been to the channel islands.

Maybe 20 mm flak, I think i have seen something like it in flaksites somewhere !!

still does not ring a bell, but i don't think that it has got aything to do with the optics of the batterie Todt, this is where the "thing" is still standing in the woods.

it was just a joke (Arthur... Thanks ! :wink: ), only to define where the picture was taken. It has nothing to deal with a telescope of course. Looks as if the personal binoculars of the Battery commandant could stand inside this thing.... :lol: ! It was just a wink to the hugeness of the guns.
