Re: German bunkers in Italy
Hello Acesfakia,
looks like mix of 59a nad 52a (ringstand + 2 rooms). If so, very similar one is placed next to Tavronitis bridge , but there instead of ringstand we have pzkpfw. turm stand.
Where exactly is located bunker from your pics?

No idea where to post this picture. According to the caption a German's service coast guns in Italy. Captured Italian battery? Not sure, easy to recognise typical Krupp horizontal wedge block breech. Former KuK Marine 1ww barrels (Skoda)?

This is Battery CATTANEO at Taranto Italy. It was to consist of 3- 305 mm Austrian K 10 guns removed from an Austrian Battleship scrapped by Italy after WW I. My understanding is that it was never fully operational and the picture represents the only operational gun of the battery.

Re: German bunkers in Italy
Hello,
In Polish archive there is a picture described as "antitank obstacle in the Italian front".
I have 3 questions:
- doeas anyone have the idea about type of the obstacle? It seems it's a rectangular block with one wall sloping.
- Has anyone noticed similar obstacles in other locations? E.g. similar ones were used in Krakow in Poland.
- does anyone recognize the location?

Almost all antitanks obstacles at the Waag Stellung (Slovakia) are rectangular concrete blocks.
