Really, they exsist. 49 turrets (removed from Pz 35(t) when converting them into Morserzugmittel 35(t) prime mover) were used in coastal defence in Denmark and France.
Several turrets removed from damaged tanks were installed on armoured trains.

The first photo show armoured train of wehrmaht and the second one - of Slovakian army.

We had a lot of Pz I - Pz II and Pz 38 (t), but until now i have not been able to find any Pz 35 (t) in my records ??

I will of cource look further into this and give an answer if i find any !!

Hi Erik

On the list from Denmark 15-01-1945 , I can only find 11 turrets
for the Pz.Kwf. 38 (t) and no 35 (t) , there are also 4,7 cm (t)
but this was for the 631 and V.F. 4,7 cm Pak K 36 and also the
normal 4,7 Pak 36 (t) .

So....A possible answer is that the turrets which were heading for Denmark ended up in Norway?
Afterall, there are atleast 28 turrets on buildinglists from 1944, but as usual, it`s impossible to tell how many of them acually arrived! So far 8 are confirmed 100%, 20 more to go!

So far, none of the books or documents posted in this thread, or in the Panzer section include Norway....
Why could that be??

Hi Erik

Can you help me , I am a little bit confusted . I was checking
my papers on the tankturets the drawings and the info said that
the Pk.Kpw. 35 (t) had a 3,7 cm gun , the original tank had a 4,7 cm
gun , is this a German typo or did they changed the guns ?????
I was looking for 4,7 tankturrets in Denmark , so maybe ??

Hallo Jos!
My books says the original Pz35(t) had a 3,7cm KwK!
The 4,7cm was a German adaption, but not used in this turret as far as I know.

Anyway, before the 35(t) was installed on bunkers, the frontplate withKwK38(t) and MG37(t) from Pz38(t) turrets were installed, so we are definately looking for a 3,7cm KwK(t)

Hello Erik

You are right Erik , the Pz 35 (t) had the Skoda 37 mm L/48
but also the 37 mm L/40 , the same gun as the Pz 38 (t) .
So both tankturrets on land had the 3,7 cm K.w.K. 38 (t).

Thanks and Regards Jos

Since no one have found any proof of Pz35(t) turrets in Denmark......
Do you agree that these turrets were most likely shipped to Norway instead??

Hello Erik

I think that you are right that the Pz 35 (t) turrets were shipped to
Norway , found some info that the Pz 35 (t) in France were used together
with Pz 38 (t) at the border with Spain .
Do you have a picture's of these Pz 35 (t) gunturret ????

Hi

There were Pz. 35 turrets in use here in Denmark. You will just have to wait until Ole Hviid Tønnesen get home from Copenhagen to get the info on how many and where they were situated!
