By the style of the uniforms, they look a bit Soviet, could this be a post WW2 modification?

I think so too, the Resita/Vickers was used well into the post war years, just like its sister, the Resita 75mm antitank gun....maybe Resita tried to stay in the game with some updates of the weapon?
