Hi jopaerya,
Thanks again for your informative replies, I didn't notice the differences on the recoil device.
Is 7,5cm GebK 228(b) the correct "German" name on this Gun? I'm not sure on this since the wheels are different.

Is it possible to get a sharper closeup of your gun?

I agree with Jos on a FK16 n.a due to the curved shield.......
Here is a 10.5 in the same carriage as the 7,5cm FK16

Most probably taken somewhere around Lillehammer. The artillery were attached to 181. Inf.Div, not sure about the date (have the dates at home) But probably around 1942.

Hi Dimi-Labada

The Canon de 75 mle Gp III is a Belgian conversion of the 7,5 cm FK 16 n.A.
but your foto has the same wheels as Valtoro's photo , I think you got a match .
The German name of the Belgian gun is 7,5 cm Feldkanone 236 (b) and was
made by S.A. J. Cockerill .

Both these guns are 10,5cm....
(The wheels are not identical to each other)

I still don`t see exactly why Valtoro`s photo is a FK236 (b) ??
The coastal artilleriy in Norway is listed with 22 FK236(b) guns, so it is ofcourse possible!

Hi Erik

You are right we can be 100 % sure because , both guns
are the same model , the only way we can be 100 % sure
if we know the type of guns of the 181. Inf.Div used in the
Artillerie Regiment 222 .

The first gun is definitely a 15cm K-39, due to the size of the piece in general (the sFH-18 was not nearly as big), the length of the ordnance, the platform for the gunners on the right trail, and indeed, the style of the wheels. The photo of the artillery pieces in the snow shows not a 75mm (ex-7.7cm) FK-16, but its stable mate, the 10.5cm (105mm in Belgian service) leFH-16, in its Belgian configuration, with the pneumatic tires for towing by tractors. The ordnance is too short and stubby to be the 75mm field gun.

The last piece being loaded by the German troops seems to be the ordnace of a 105L 13 S (ie: "Matériel de 105 long mle. 1913 Schneider") on some sort of improvised carriage.

re: Valtoro's photo of Belgian mountain gun:
I believe the original Belgian designation for this weapon was "Canon de 75 de montagne mle. 1934 FRC". As to the German "Fremden Gerät" designation I have no idea, but will check and see.
