Hi Jaybond,
A few years ago we went to Koblenz to visit the museum of the German army and they had a 24cm K3 exibited in the big hall, in very good conditions and it was much bigger than i expected, i made one picture of it (yes it was my pre digital era) but i can not find it (it is always a mess in my room, but i am working on it)
Greetings Jack

Two examples from :
Jagdtiger.de and
(ecellent) personal collection of Akira Takiguchi

Perhaps one of those guns or whole battery were used near Sevastopol (siege)

Thanx @ndrew, excellent pics! :) That gun is huge for a wheeled carriage. At first I thought it is towed in one piece. But that's require something much stronger than an SdKfZ 8, isn't? Well of course it was carried in pieces. But that carriage has got to be ,the biggest wheeled gun carriage of wwii.

Hello John,

you are absolutely right!

In the WTS you can find a lot of interesting items, that were restaurated near to perfection by german military personel. The new restaurated Sd.Kfz are shown once a year in action!
