The pictures below are not of the kernwerk off Hoek van holland, they where taken some mile's south of it .

I came a cross these picture on e-bay i believe these picture where taken in Oostvoorne and show a 28cm kanon of the Tirpitz

According to Bunkers op voorne Jeroen grijpsma

Hope you can confirm this

Cheers

Hello Sander

It is a 28 cm SK.L/45 , but I think that
the photo is a pre W.W.2 becauce the
uniforms and the headwear look pre W.W.2 .
There is also a 17cm SK.L/40 in the same
photoserie so I think the pictures are taken
in Germany, my 2 cents are M.K.B. Tirpitz
and M.K.B. Ehrhardt Schmidt at Kiel .

Hi Sander,
There are several books that have the bunkers or the WO II in the Westland as titel, the last one was written by a man who lives in Hook of Holland (Piet Heystek) with some bunker pictures and a book about the Westland with few bunker pictures.
My site is in the "building up" stage (bunkerarchief.nl i'am responsible for the part about hoek van holland, the site will be mostly about De Beer) Ruud Pols (RuPo) is acting as Webhost, on the site of the Atlanticwallmuseum hoek van holland webhost Peter de Krom you will find more about the still ramaining part of this former Festung.
