7.5 cm Panzerabwehrkanone 97/38

Post by Robert Hurst » 10 Oct 2002 10:14

Hi

I know that this weapon fired the following types of anti-armour shell;

7.5 cm K Gr Pz Patr (p) armour piercing round

And

7.5 cm Gr Patr 97/38 HI/B hollow charge round

What I would like to know is what was the penetrative capability of these two rounds of ammunition.

Thanks in advance.

Bob

Robert,
A Finnish source gives the following numbers:
A.P. 92mm at 300m, 90 degrees angle
H.C. 93mm at all distances, 90 deg
