Eax-E, From what year is your document?
I have been trying to find some of the prototype fortifications at Hillersleben but it is very hard to find them.
Only found some of the observationbunkers for the shootingrange.
Many areas are wooded and the terrain is very big.
There must have been parts of Hillersleben that were for specialized uses, Fortifications, Infantrytraining etc.

It's from 1938.
Hillersleben sould have been a bunkerparadise, but I think due to USSR's use there is not a lot still. I hope I am wrong :)

A and I Platz have been severely damaged by USSR presence, and harly nothing remains. A-Platz is strick no-go area and very little is left on top. Remains of speciel armoured turrets are now, along with other relics fromt he area, placed at the museum located at the barracks south of Born.

Almost nothing remains at I-Platz which is now located in a wooded area in the northern part. Only rubble and large craters.

H-Platz still have parts of the 80cm testbench but most have been blown apart here as well.

Been around a few times. A very facinating area but unfortunately not much remains these days.
