Hello All, I too need help please, can someone Identify the machine gun taken in a WWII French farm raid? Is it a German Maschinengewehr Dreyse water cooled Mg 1915? It' an ebay shot that I bought.

"On WWI machine guns, it's writte LMG 15" the "L" stands for luftgekuhlt, that's why that one was for the air force

there was also another one without the "L" that was for the ground force
