How long did the Panzerbüchse anti-tank rifles see service in WW2, and how many were produced? I'm mostly wondering about the Pz.B. 39, but information on the Pz.B. 38 and Pz.B. 41 is very welcome aswell. Were they completely replaced by the panzershrecks and panzerfausts by 1943, or did they continue to see use from 1943 and onwards?

Re: The Panzerbüchse AT rifles - how long did they see service?
1408 PzB 38 were produced, production ceased in 1940. 39323 PzB 39 were produced, production ceased in November 1941. Starting in 1942 existing PzB 39's were rebuilt into Granatbüchse Modell 39 for firing rifle grenades.

PzB 41 continued to serve until the end of the war. 800 PzB 41 were still in service in 1945.

Re: The Panzerbüchse AT rifles - how long did they see service?
I have information about the Wehrmacht infantry division 05.1943.
The division of 9 battalions had 252 anti-tank rifles.
The division of 6 battalions had 171 anti-tank rifles.
It turns out 27 anti-tank rifles in the battalion (+ 9 in the reconnaissance battalion).
Is there any information about which anti-tank rifles in question: Panzerbüchse 39, Granatbüchse 39 or have Panzerschreck already been planned?
