Hi all,

Can somebody identify these MGs? I think not MG08, as they have grooved water jackets...
Captured Russian M1910 ?? althought the muzzle break not match, I think.... :?

If they are both the same, then they are Vickers L guns - top cover shows the 5 arch bridge and first pattern larger drum sight. Although impossible to tell, but with the addition of the parabellum type ammo belt 'disc' these .303 Vickers were converted to German standard!! Great photo!!!

Not German but.... :roll: This machinegun is an 7.62mm Maxim M1910 but.... Any idea about the mount ?? :?

See this new image. The m1921 had a hole in his right part for the empty cases ......is it not ?

Looks like the winter picture has been reversed. Bottom picture has the soldier using right hand on grip and trigger. Top uses left hand and yes, he might be lefthanded and not using an m/21 :)

Only an Experimental BAR had the Ejection port on the left side. All other versions had it on the right. The initial image was reversed

British .303 Hotchkiss Mk 1 (or Mk 1*) I think - used in WWI tanks and armoured cars, and still standard issue for mounted cavalry units in 1939-41.

A Hotchkiss Portative Mk 1 series IIRC had the metal buttstock

Fitted with a german 50 rd drum and mounted on a M24 Chaffee Tank Turret
