Parabellum Gun/MG14 info needed
The Parabellum Gun or the MG14 fires 7.92x57mm Mauser rounds.
But what's it's overall length including the butt stock?
Also, as shown on these pictures below, it has an attached ammo drum with belts inside. But how many 7.92x57mm Mauser rounds does it hold inside that ammo drum? The capacity, I mean.
Additional info would be appreciated.

Oh. Thanks! I removed the 4th picture.
What are those photos you're posting? The MG 14 or the Maxim?

Very likely the standard 250 round belt, the canvas belts of the time only came in standardized lengths/round count, and couldn't be linked to other belts,250 rounds being average for the period.

So there are 250 rounds in that drum? From the way it looks though, do you think it could fit 250?
Also, how do you think they reload? Do they switch drums or do they fill the drum up with the belt again?

Hello,
The Parabellum spool accommodates a 200-round belt.

Wait.. so what's right? 200 rounds in it or 250 rounds?
Also, what type of Mauser round did the Parabellum Gun/MG14 fire? The 7.92x57mm Mauser I or the IS?

Ok, 200.
Now, what 7.92x57mm Mauser round does it fire? The I or the IS?

IS as it was adopted in 1905. No offense Angelus but these facts are easy to find and cross reference with a minimum amount of searching on the internet (Google, Bing etc.)
