Thank you for answer. I try to find the Fallschirmjäger, only. So I didn't find the photos like you show me.
I had read about problems with Luger p08 . The weapon was afraid of dirt. For this, a new holster was developed to replace the old model. The Fallschirmjäger jumped in the mud and sand, weapons were delivered separately. It’s good to have a gun at this time. But an open holster can do dirty Luger and the Fallschirmjäger will be without of weapons. Therefore, I think the open holster could not be used. I have not seen Fallschirmjäger with such a holster.
I wanted to buy this holster, but, better to ask people, who has information about it. I am interesting to collect the Fallschirmjäger, I not need this model.
As I am understanding, the last photo - this is Russian soldier.
Thank you, friends) You helped me )
Wow. A dangerous test for the Luger mechanism))) Unfortunately, I do not have weapons and I can not personally verify and tell my opinion. The topic is interesting to me - a legend. But for me is possible read, only, about the legend of Luger and MP38 / 40. We have here important different situation - this man is not in danger, and Fallschirmjäger jumped into the war, where you need not 100% confidence in weapons, 1000% must be sure ) But after this video, I began to understand better. Thank you) The topic of WW2 equipment is very interesting. I am thinking, I will not jump with open holster )
Nice, another man from "Forgotten weapons", a bit not correct - nobody forgot Luger p08
I bought this model of Holster. Unfortunately I'll fill up it by Umarex CO2 Luger. I was lucky, i payed for this holster 265€
