I found a Czech vz24, 1939-1940 serial #, marked as BR-4713 for Sale to Romania.
Stamped on barrell , near muzzle is:
C.S.I. Georgia. M 3
VZ 24 8mm. Czecho
What could the "Georgia" reference mean?

What epstud74 said. Century was the importer for your rifle. The import marking is required by (US) Federal law.
