Sokolov mount - equivalents in other countries (?)

Hello everyone,

During the period of ca. 1900-1945, did any other nations apart from Russia adopt wheeled, man-portable carriages for their machineguns (a la Sokolov mount), and if so, did they also include an armoured shield?
