German use of Browning HP

#1

Post by DerFlieger » 25 Aug 2003, 18:37

I'm looking for informations about the use
of the Pistole 640 (b) in the Luftwaffe.
I know that most of these hand guns were issued to army
and Waffen SS units, but has anybody statistics or
photographic evidence for their use by air crews and
paratroopers.

Thanks in advance

The only evidence i have is for a 9mm Pistole Automatique Browning, modele a grande puissance 1935 (German designation Pistole P620(b) ).
The information comes from a book "fallschirmjager" by Osprey Publishing. It only mentions that the fallshirmjager used the weapon because of its 13 round magazine.
Hope this is some help! :)
