Man, thats some awesome stuff, I like the mannequin you have done up, it looks very nice/real. Mine is a plastic torso with a "field-modified" aka rigged styrafoam head. I'm going to get some full body mannequins sometime. Where did you get yours? Great guns !!!

I got the mannequin from fleamarket about ten years ago.
I was still living with my parents, you can imagine the looks they gave me when I brought it home. (well I think my parents have always thought I was a little crazy...)
Made by Obermaier, München. I think it is 50-60 vintage.
Cost about 85usd back then.
Had to repaint the face.
Scan your area´s fleamarkets and "buy´n´sell" stores. Or ask your local super market, they might sell the older ones for fair price.

Hi Guys,

Hi Englander, no, i bought this one from Colvase Guns (Alistair Ballantine), at one of the regular shows over at Farnham about three years ago.

That is a great show, they hold about four a year, well worth the journey,
always a lot of good traders.

Coxy, it was quite expensive, £380.00 ........really nice piece though.

Regards,

Steve.

This is for the Moderators-
Can we make this Topic into a sticky seeing as it is pretty popular and has many good photos of collectors firearms?
