Hmmm, not pipsqueak from anyone? It comes from a manufacturer little known for pistols....but it's raked butt resembles very much that of a far better known automatic - for which this company made a .22 conversion unit . The pistol in the question made a rather gruesome reputation for itself - in one or two postwar trials....../Varjag

The manufacturer - is much better known for it's submachine-guns, one of which holds 'icon-status' amongst collectors today....../Varjag

...been wondering what 'kept you' :) - Yes of course it is an Erma 'Old Model' .22. I understand developed as a cheaper alternative to the '08' Luger conversion kit. And - with a 'reputation' from some 'Konzentrationslager' where it was used as a 'nape-in-the-neck' dispatcher.

Edge's question, Varjag

New one bellow.

Extra points for user state.

"What can I do with bonus points" (someone asked recently)

Well, if you came to me in Serbia, each bonus point is glass of Sliwowitza. 8-)
(50%+ alcohol, so don't expect big glasses; I'm also not liable for any subsequent legal/medical procedure)

Ouch ... the last time I encountered Sliwowtiza I ended up in all kinds of trouble ... I've heard, I remember absolutely nothing after opening the keg, fade to black.

At least you didn't woke up married.

Maybe I made that offer just to improve merriedge status of AHF members... or to eliminate concurrence at this Quiz. (You'll never know...  Just don't call me "Merri-Edge" :? )

However, at this point, this looks like bad move - everybody considers bonus, nobody go for the basic question. :(

All what he wanted was a booze. :D I guess you probaly lost the focus when interesting part evapoured.

Answer correct (WTP-1, Westentaschenpistole, to be precise - there was WTP-2 also); Photo source - the same as above.

Just to be on the fair side, one (consolable) bonus point to Varjag.
(Must not give away the whole home-brand supply - there is a lot of thirsty Scandinavians here! :) )

I'm a little bit like peeved for a sensible follow-up....As far as the extra pts. payable in Sliwowitz - thanks-but No thanks.....allergic to plums :(

a lot of thirsty Scandinavians here!
As you know - there is one of the most hallowed 'belts' on this earth - the Vodka-belt which stretches from Norway in the west - to Vladivostok in the east...I and probably peeved and our 'farrier' prefer to worship within it's confines where the drink is 'clear as water'.

The next question; What rifle is this?......Varjag
