German troops with Italian Model 1941 Carcano rifles in Rome, possibly in the aftermath of the ambush of SS troops by partisans which resulted in the Fosse Ardeatine massacre in March 1944. From the Bundesarchiv.

The last photo appears to show a Suomi instead of a PPSh, and the MG on the ground is Czech, I think.
