I am looking for the informations and picture of Oberst Hans Hesse.

I know that in the WW1 he was chief of staff of the 9th army, but i don't have any other information about him (date of birth, death, ranks, other units in which he served or comanded exc.).

Hi

I dont have an sure answer, but it existed an Oberst z.D. Hans Hesse during WW2 who was born 20.06.1885 in x. It is a small chance that he might be your man ?

It also existed one further Oberst Hans Hesse who was born 1886 but he is not your man.

Hans Hesse (21.05.1865 - 08.11.1938) He was awarded the Orden pour le mérite on 11.12.1916 while serving as Chef d. Gen. St. d. 9. Armee (full dates 08.09.16 - 09.04.17). This should be enough information to help you search your way to much more information.
