This original WW1 burial stone was discovered some years ago.

Text on the stone:

Hier ruht in Gott
Unser lieber, unvergesslicher Galle
Seesoldat Willi Schremp II
2. Ersatz Seebataillon /Kuestenschutzkomp.
Er starb am 25/1/1916 bei WestendBad
den Heldentod fürs Vaterland

S.B. in Flanders.

Also one soldier is wearing the 'Riechpäckchen', German gasmask,
as Cnock told a few posts before.
