All the info I have of him was bayerischer Obst Bomhard with bayerische, preußische, württembergische, Austrian and Finnish medals. Closeup (alas only medal, not face) showed no doubt an Finnish order of the White Rose.

Cheers

Pic matches one I posted here

Theodor was the grandfather of GruF Adolf.
So that makes Karl the father of Adolf.

The pic I posted above was Obst Theodor Ernst v Bomhard 20.02.1874 - 15.06.38. He was the younger son of Gen d Art Theodor and brother of GenMj Karl.

GenMj Karl's oldest son was Gruf u GenLt dPol Adolf 06.01.1891 - 19.07.1976 and his second son was an Obst Felix 04.05.1892 - 21.02.1983
