Hi AnDie, All I can find on Oberst Felix Reichardt is that in 1917-1918 he was Chief of Staff of Saxon Corps 2. From April 1,1918 to Jan 10, 1919 he was Commander of Brigade 88, (Saxon Brig 7 ). Jan 10, 1919 to May 16, 1920 he was commander of Brigade 11, in Wehrkreis 5, and still an Oberst. Apparently he was retired at that time, as I find no more mention of his name. Best regards, HFK

Hi again AnDie, I forgot to mention that over 600 Obersts, the majority Prussian, were promoted to Major-gen on their retirement after the war, most of them in 1919. Oberst Reinhardt must have been promoted in 1920, as it looks he retired that year. Regards, HFK

Dear HFK & Glenn,

many thanks for your help.
But I have some questions?
What is the award SMEK? Sachsen-Meiningisches Ehrenkreuz für Verdienst im Krieg?
I hope I have the others awards correct:

24.05.1910 Ritterkreuz 1. Klasse des Kgl. Sächsischen Albrechts-Ordens
07.11.1911 Ehrenkreuz des Großherzoglich Mecklenburgischen Greifen-Ordens
12.12.1911 Kgl. Preußischer Roter Adler-Orden 4. Klasse
19.09.1912 Kgl. Preußischer Kronen-Orden 3. Klasse
21.12.1912 Komturkreuz 2. Klasse des Herzoglich Sachsen-Ernestinischen Haus-Ordens
00.00.1913 Dienstauszeichnungskreuz (Sachsen)
22.12.1914 Ritterkreuz 1. Klasse mit Schwertern des Kgl. Sächsischen Verdienst-Ordens
20.10.1915 Ritterkreuz des Kgl. Sächsischen Militär-St. Heinrichs-Ordens
24.11.1916 Offizierskreuz mit Schwertern des Kgl. Sächsischen Albrechts-Ordens
03.07.1917 Kommandeurkreuz 2. Klasse des Kgl. Sächsischen Militär-St. Heinrichs-Ordens
24.11.1917 Kgl. Preußischer Kronen-Orden 2. Klasse

Other questions:

KP = Kgl. Preuß.?

Do you know the place of birth and dead?

Many thanks for your help.

BTW: an add info

Reichardt was 1920 - (before 1923) Chef der Sächsischen Landespolizei with the rank "General der Landespolizei".

Best regards
AnDie

AnDie,
What is the award SMEK? Sachsen-Meiningisches Ehrenkreuz für Verdienst im Krieg?
- correct
KP = Kgl. Preuß.?
- correct. Reichardt was a company commander in 1. Pion.-Bat. Nr. 12 at the time of this assignment.

General Reichardt was born in Leipzig. I do not know where he died.

Thank you, Glenn.
When he was company commander in 1. Pion.-Bat. Nr. 12? Until 1907?
Do you know when he joined the army?

Andie,

01.04.04: zum Generalstabe des XII. (1. K.S. Armeekorps) kommandiert
23.04.04: zum Generalstabe des XII. (1. K.S. Armeekorps) versetzt
23.03.05-21.05.07: Chef 4./Pionier-Bataillon Nr. 12

Promoted to Portepee-Fähnrich from Unteroffizier in Pionier-Bataillon Nr. 12 on 20.11.88 so presumably joined the Saxon Army in early 1888.

Glenn
