Last one I promise! Any assistance identifying this photo from the First World War (1917) would be greatly appreciated.
Never it's too late.

I think it's from Bulgarian Army.

Here is a German soldier in uniform -

Name: Walter Koenig
Date of Birth: 12 September 1889
Place of Birth & Place of Residence at time of enlistment: Groß Totschen, Moltketal (Trzebnica, Trzebnicki poviat)

Can the regiment be identified based on the information above?

He was also awarded the Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse 1914.

Hi...new here but love the site.

Hope this is the right spot for this inquiry. I think this pre-dates WWI slightly but was wondering if anybody can help ID the uniform passed along in a pix recently. Assume Germany in the mid to late 1800's but keenly interested in any information an expert might lend. Could be from Bavaria, Baden or Rheinland-Pfalz based on family history.

If there is another area that this inquiry would better fit...please let me know.

Many thanks in advance.
