I search more infos about the BMMJO-holder Manfred Ritter von Ottnad (* 28.04.1891, + ???).

Do you know where he was born? The German war graves database has two men named Ottnad who died during WWII, but neither has a "von". Both were from Baden--one Freiburg, the other Mosbach. Interestingly, the one from Freiburg was named Manfred (he was born in 1920) as well. A search of "Kriegs Opfer der Stadt Freiburg im Breisgau" does not list this Manfred, however; nor is anyone by the name Ottnad listed among the civilian casualties. That's about the best I can do with my limited resources.

Manfred Ottnad who was born in 1920 was his son.
