Re: Id. battleship
Hello!
I would say this is one of early German dreadnought battleships - either Nassau, or Ostfriesland class.
Best regards, Aleks

Re: Id. battleship
hi, Aleks and Sturm,
IMO it´s one of the early German battlecruisers, probably (based on the position of the 6" guns) Von der Tann.
greetings, the pb
I don´t think so. In that case, the starboard aft turret of the heavy artillery hexagonal array should be visible.AVV wrote: ... one of early German dreadnought battleships - either Nassau, or Ostfriesland class

Re: Id. battleship
hi
IMO it´s a German (Imperial) battleship of the KAISER-class, as there´s a platform above the upper searchlights
greetings, the pb

Hello,
too little detail, unfortunately. I think it will be one from the König - class. I can see only the two forward turrets. The flanking I missing.

Re: Id. battleship
Hi Sturm78,
As a wild guess, could it be SMS Derfflinger?
There are empty (covered-over?) upper-deck casemates visible aft of the No 2 turret (Bruno), which would normally contain 15cm guns (mostly to fire forward); however Derfflinger was fitted with anti-roll tanks during construction and had to sacrifice her two foremost 15cm for reasons of space. She was the only ship of her class so treated.
But like I said, just a wild guess - I'm certainly not an expert!
Best Regards,
