Friedrich Grothkarst
Does anyone know the WWI service of Friedrich Grothkarst, born 28.02.1892 in Altona (Hamburg)? He is not listed within the "Rangliste" of the prussian and bavarian army (as far as I know). I suppose he was an officer in WWI, since he later joined the Wehrmacht as a reserve officer and was promoted to Major.
