I am searching date and place of birth for Hptm dR Franz Strauch from FüR 34. I knew he had a connection to Essen.

*14.8.1879, according to the 1937 FR 34 Mitgliederverzeichnis. He is listed as an Oberingenieur at Krupp AG in Essen.

Now it is only to find his place of birth.

Btw does the Mitgliederverzeichnis for FR 34 from 1937 have an Oblt Hans? Dautwitz ? He might have been the Bomberflieger Oblt x Dautwitz but thats is only a guess at moment.

He is only listed as "H. Dautwitz". Born 9.4.1892, in FR 34 from 1912-1920. In the list as a Major der Luftwaffe in Greifswald. There is more information in Dezeng and Stankey's Luftwaffe officer bios on his later assignments.

It seems that Dautwitz is the wanted man, and according to another source might have a connection to Oldenburg.
