Germans in the Polish Air Force After WWI

#1

Post by Edward L. Hsiao » 25 Aug 2019, 09:54

I seem to remember that there were Germans of German Air Service that joined the newly formed Polish Air Force after World War I. Among them were Willi Gabriel and Sylvester Garsztka. Is there any discussions at all about the Germans after getting first names in Polish joined the Polish Air Force and fought against the Ukrainian Army?

I forgot what source it was but I remember that Willi Gabriel had gotten the first name of Jan when entering Polish territory and suspected that he joined the Polish Air Force.
