Most likely these guys were somehow more well known than others. I got them in a row with famous PLM winners like Forstmann, Valtiner. Weddigen, Arnauld de la Periere, Hersing, Hartwig and others

Found it regarding the lower photo. it is Paul Thierfelder Commander d. 'Crown Prince Wilhelm', 1915
