I came across this memorial near Jeglin, Poland (formerly Jeglinnen, Kreis Johannisburg, Ostpreussen) for soldiers from Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 45 who were killed on February 9, 1915, and I thought I’d do a little research on the names. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the regimental history so I can’t provide any background info about the fighting on that day.
