Thanks Chris,

It seemes that the Germans used pictures of kids often in their propaganda postcards.
To make look the war lesser terrible?

uniforms and equipments of the Kaiserliche Marine esp. ww I

Post by obermatrose » 02 Jan 2007 11:20

Hello merry gentlemen,

I'm especially looking for uniforms and equipments of the German Navy 1871 - 1918, there especially the fieldgrey (feldgruen) dress. I myself collected a lot of photos and books about the Kaiserliche Marine.

Who is especially interested in this subject? What kind of material do you have?

I myself can perhaps help answering questions about uniforms and equipments of the KM.

Thank you
obermatrose

Welcome aboard Obermatrose,
You'll notice if you look around this forum a few people (mainly Cnock) have posted some great photos of the KM in Feldgrau, I'm sure you'll find these of interest. Please feel free to post more yourself.
Happy New Year,
Chris
