How did ti work.. i mean, organization. Was it a "Reichtag of the Confederation" and such things ?

All its members were totally souvereign. The only federal body was the Bundesvesammlung in Frankfurt a.M., the meeting of the rulers under the chairmanship of Austria.
A two third decistion of the Bundesvesammlung was imperative for the states, not the subjects. The Austrian Empire (namely the Foreign Minister Clemens Metternich) was most influential.
There was no parliament and no federal taxation, legislation, military or standards.
To foster the economy the customs union (Zollverein) was founded 1834 by Prussia, by 1842 it included most member states.

It should be Bundesversammlung. Sometimes, a single letter can make quite a difference... :D

And I'm fairly sure you mean 1866 rather than 1966 :)

"Bundesverammlung" has no meaning, with the "s" left out.

But if an "r" is substituted for the "s", you would get "Bundesverrammlung", which could have a meaning, derived from the real verb "verrammeln", meaning "to barricade".
