Hi!

I would greatly appreciate some help in clarifying the commanders of the 2. Kav. Div.

Some sources have Generalleutnant Otto von Preinitzer as commander from 01/06/20 - 01/04/22. Another source states that the commander from 01/10/20 - 15/06/21 was Generalleutnant Wilhelm Jahn. Please could anyone shed some light on this matter?

Hi VJ,

Generalleutnant Otto von Preinitzer was the divisional commander from 1st May 1920 - 1st Apr 1922. Generalmajor Wilhelm Jahn was assigned to the divisional staff from 1st Oct 1920 until his retirement and promotion to Char. Generalleutnant on 15 Jun 1921.
