Marcus,

IR 29 was part of 31 Brigade,16 Infantrie Division(Rhineland)in 1914.

The 31 Brigade,detached, fought at Langemarck,November 1914.

Hauptmann Heinz von Pflugk-Hartung commanded the HQ at the Eden Hotel were Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg were first detained, later murdered. His brother,Leutnant Horst von Pflugk-Hartung(1889-1967) a former naval officer, also served with him in the Sturmkompangie.

Both brothers, among others, were acquitted of the murders.

Regards,
Peter

I also asked in the Aerodrome forum and got the below additional info:
Rick wrote:Marcus,

First, the correct spelling of his name is Pflugk-Harttung, Oblt. Heinz (O):

KG 4/Ks 22 (Jun16) - 12Nov16
KG 7/Ks 39 C.O. 12Nov16 - 1Jan17
Schusta 15 C.O. 1Jan17 - (Mar17)
AFP 1 (??) - 21Aug18
FA 252(A)w C.O. 21Aug18 -

And as Stogieman stated, KIA on 26Mar20.

This link(in German) states he was Chef eines Nachrichtenbüros im Reichswehrstab in der Bendlerstraße(Chief of the Reichswehr Press Office at the Bendlerstrasse?)

http://www.luise-berlin.de/bms/bmstxt00/0003prog.htm

The Kapp Putsch that had occurred on the 13-17th March 1920 appears to have unleashed some payback on both sides for past transgressions.

Peter
