General von Haeseler get his Plm in 1873. I will look for the right date.
In the Biblio-Verlag is a serie of books obaut the Knights of the PLm published. The last book with the Knights of P - Z are missing. And there is some mistakes in the books. Wrong names, wrong dates, wrong bios. But with pic of each Plm-holder.

Hello mjölnir,

yes, this really sounds like Biblio-Verlag.

The next in my list is Herzog Ernst II. von Sachsen-Altenburg.

Born: 1871
Died: 1955

PLM on 30.5.1915 as General der Infanterie.

What was his command? Was he the commander of the 8.Infanteriedivision at this time?

Perhaps anyone has another photo of him?

I stumbled over a Oberst von Mertens who got his PLM for his engagement at the Düppeler Schanzen 1864 . If anybody could provide data about this Oberst ?

Hi!

Generalleutnant Felix Langer was awarded the PlM on 8 October 1917 as Kommandeur der 28.Infanteriedivision, and the Oakleaves on 7 November 1918 as Kom. General des XXIV.Reservekorps. Like Ziethen, he received a char. promotion (to General der Infanterie) on 27.8.1939. Does anyone please have a picture of Langer?
