Gentlemen,

I tried to see what is in that article about German airpower in the Finnish War of Independence,1918 but that stupid statement that said "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down!" blocked my entry! :x That statement also includes a red circle with a white X in the middle. I don't know what to do! :(

Information can be found also from this multilinqual book (which although mainly covers the very intersting early history of the Finnish Air Force):

Who were the German pilots that took part in the Finnish War of Independence? The battles they fought?

Did the German pilots of the Marineflieger taught the Finnish pilots how to fly seaplanes during WWI?

Well I know that Hauptmann Karl Seber was the head of the Finnish Air Force for a few months in 1918. Finland's Air Force was successfully shaped by strong German influence and by an aggressive anti-bolshevism born in the bloody civil war that followed independence. It must be said that German pilots had participated in bombing of the Finnish Reds in 1918.
