One more question, my friend says the rifle is Belgian made, does anyone know which compnay in Belgium made Winchester rifles?

I don't know who would have the European license to manufacture the Lee action.It could well have been FN Herstal as the president of Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken(DWM),Isidore Loewe,was by that time a major stockholder.The old Ludwig Loewe Co.,which became DWM,also had the license to make the old Smith & Wesson Russian Model revolver.

Also,the famous arms designer John Browning,a former Winchester employee,was a major designer for FN in this time period.
