In closed are pictures of a recent find via the way of England. The Waffen Nr. on the scabbard and bayonet are mismatched but their fairly close. I have a poll question which is more rare the African colony or the Chinese colony unit mark weapons? I lean to the African colony's due to so few troops being their.

Also inclosed is another KS98 made by Amberg their are no unit marks on it but is very hard to find due to very few being made.

Again, thanks for sharing such great pics... I'd lean to Chinese ones being more rare, judging by the numbers in the Bayonet sections at www.germancolonialuniforms.co.uk

To find either is a real treat though!

Cheers
Chris
