Tsingtau's first German governor

Looking for help: Have been trying to look into the life of the first German governor of Tsingtau (Qingdao), Kapitän zur See Carl (or Karl) Rosendahl. Have found rudimentary data about his biography online, but was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the direction of more detailed information on his career before, during and after his brief stint in China.

Thanks very much for your reply. Correct, that's the person I'm talking about, but I was looking for something a little more comprehensive than what's available online. Does anyone know about possible sources for more details about Rosendahl, eg biographical works on the pre-WWI German navy, memoirs, diaries, archives, etc?
